Trainee First Officer :

Senior First Officer :

Captain / Commander :

Please note: Graduation is not a prerequisite to becoming a Pilot.
In my opinion, graduation does not directly help in a Pilot Career.

You need to Pass the following DGCA Exams in order to get a DGCA CPL :-

  1. Air Regulations (AR): This paper covers aviation regulations, rules, and procedures prescribed by the DGCA and international aviation authorities.
  2. Air Navigation (AN): This paper focuses on navigation principles, charts, radio navigation aids, and flight planning.
  3. Aviation Meteorology (Met): This paper deals with weather theory, meteorological phenomena, interpretation of weather charts, and forecasting.
  4. Technical General (TG): This paper covers general aircraft knowledge, aircraft systems, principles of flight, and aviation technology.
  5. Technical Specific (TS): This paper delves deeper into specific aircraft systems, performance characteristics, limitations, and emergency procedures.
  6. Radio Telephony Restricted (RTR): This is not a written paper but an oral examination on radio communication procedures and phraseology.
